World-Class Beauti Secret? Winter OR Summer!

Day 4: Skinlogics® Herbal Hydrating Mist

Day 4 is HERE!

After spending so much time on the Perfecting Wet/Dry Finish & how versatile it is, I thought about how I didn't really give enough credit to some of our other incredible products. Especially today's feature, the Skinlogics Herbal Hydrating Mist. It was actually part of the Wet/Dry feature too, that's how awesome it is! Literally, I feel like the possibilities are endless.

In the last year alone, I have used this for:
  • Dryness/tightness on my face. I know I said I have super oily skin, but sometimes the transition from winter to summer & vice-versa just isn't very friendly here in Canada. Especially when it's such short-notice that I didn't have time to switch my skincare first!
  • The Wet of my Wet/Dry.
  • Creating more intense eye shadow colours. It also helps when using eye shadow as eyeliner, gives a more bold look similar to liquid liner. Nothing is quite like the original, but my liquid liner doesn't come in an array of colours, so I have to make-do.
  • Setting my makeup. A few spritzes at the end & it stays put for hours!
  • It feels SOOO nice on a sunburn that's healing!
  • Itching. Anywhere. It's like heaven! Let's just say mosquitoes come in unusually large sizes when you don't live deep in a city-centre. It should be its own point, but on the topic of itching it's also great when a wound of any sort is healing (paper cut, hangnail, accidentally creating a gash in your arm and your favourite sweater because you walked too close to a doorframe that should have been solid but happened to have something pokey sticking out). Especially if it's starting to scab that can be annoying & itchy, this helps to distract/alleviate the pain.
  • Ontario summers. Or African summers. Either way, summer was brutally hot and humid no matter where I travelled in 2013. This helped to keep cool!
  • Travelling. Airplanes and airports can suck, especially the kind with an over 36 hour itinerary. Let's not talk about the time zone situation either. But being woken up for breakfast only 2 hours after you ate dinner & trying to convince your body that you're fully-functioning is a lot easier to do with a few spritzes of this lovely pick-me-up. (Aren't you glad you put a TSA-approved travel-sized container in your purse before you left? Along with your toothbrush, toothpaste, travel-sized spa facial, a makeup brush set that happens to hold all of the bare-necessity colour essentials, TFF Extreme Eye Serum, and a full change of clothes of course. If you can't shower at least you don't have to look like dirt.)
  • Post-workout/soccer game refresher. It's like travelling, but on an accelerated timeline. At least now you can survive post-game drinks before you get to go home and shower.

I've heard of many other uses for the Hydrating Mist...what's your favourite? Leave comments below if you have a trick to share with us too!
